Genomic-Free EBV Webinar

 

 

 

In recent years a lot of effort has been put on the development of single step methods for national routine evaluations. Many countries participating in the MACE Interbull Service have implemented or are working toward implementing a single step procedure in their national evaluations.

 

One issue that these countries are or will be facing is that EBVs produced by the single step model do include genomic information and thus are no longer suitable to be submitted as input for the MACE evaluation.

 

Some of these countries requested Interbull to provide recommendations on new ways to produce genomic-free EBVs that could be used as input for the MACE evaluation.

 

To answer this request, the Interbull Technical Committee has appointed a dedicated Working Group which has investigated these issues and identified different strategies as possible solutions. The final recommendations from the Working Group will be presented to the Interbull Community during the “Genomic-Free EBV“ Webinar on Thursday, February 11th 2021, from 14:00 to 15:30 CET.

 

The Webinar’s agenda is as follows:

-        General Discussion
